Using this website

You are welcome to read, share and link to anything here. You may not copy our writing or designs and present them as your own, or use this site in a way that damages it or interferes with anyone else’s use of it.

Prices shown here

The figures on our pricing page are real published prices, not an invitation to negotiate from a fictional starting point. They are, however, indicative: they exclude VAT, they assume a scope similar to what is described alongside them, and they can change.

Nothing on this website is a binding offer. A price becomes fixed when it is written into a scope document that we have both agreed. If the scope changes after that, the change is quoted separately and referenced in writing — we do not quietly adjust an agreed number.

Enquiries

Sending us a message does not create a contract or an obligation on either side. We aim to reply within one business day. What you tell us about your business is treated as confidential, whether or not we end up working together, and is handled as described in our privacy notice.

Our work for clients

Project terms — deliverables, timeline, payment stages, ownership, maintenance and support — live in the agreement for that project. In general, and subject to that agreement: you own your data and can export it at any time, and on final payment you own the system we built for you.

Accuracy

We write these pages carefully and correct them when they are wrong. Even so, the content here is general information rather than advice for your specific situation, and we cannot promise it is complete or current at every moment. Decisions about your business should be based on a conversation about your business.

Where we describe work we have done, we describe it accurately. Where we do not yet have a figure confirmed by the client, we leave it blank rather than estimate it.

Other people’s websites

We link to sites we do not control, including our clients’. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Liability

We do not exclude liability for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded. Beyond that, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of this website itself — for example from relying on a general article rather than asking us about your circumstances. Liability relating to work we carry out for a client is dealt with in that project’s agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.

Changes

We update this page when something changes, and the date at the top always reflects the current version.
